Success Meter Social Microsite
Nokia
Nokia wanted an engaging social application to showcase its emphasis on innovation at Echelon 2011, one of Asia's biggest startup launchpad events, of which Nokia is a premier sponsor. And so, following its highly successful pilot in Indonesia, Success Meter was launched at Echelon 2011 Singapore and Malaysia.
Built as a social media driven platform designed to inspire and engage its audience of young entrepreneurs, Success Meter is based around the concept of personal success. The audience was encouraged to participate by connecting via their personal social media accounts (SlidesShare, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter), with scores and badges being awarded based on their various social networking activities.
In less than 3 months, the Success Meter Microsite drew over 25,000 visitors, with the top-scoring users collecting the bragging rights to almost 4 million social points.
Points were awarded based on users' number of friends, fans, connections, comments, likes, updates, OVI accounts, and more.
